Details:
Injection mold engineering for automotive HVAC air-vent housings, louvers, adjustment wheels and related plastic components. Feasibility is reviewed against buyer drawings, resin specification, critical dimensions, cosmetic requirements, assembly interfaces, operating-force or torque criteria and validation scope.
Scope of supply:
• DFM review for parting line, draft, thin louvers, ribs, bosses, clips, slider and lifter requirements, weld lines, sink marks and warpage risk
• Mold design and construction aligned with the approved part data, tolerance scheme and requested mold-component standards
• Gate, cooling and ejection concept based on part geometry, resin and available injection-machine data
• T1/T2/T3 trials, dimensional and cosmetic inspection, trial report and molded samples
• Support for correction loops based on buyer validation of fit, movement, operating force, torque and noise or rattle criteria
Buyer RFQ inputs:
Please send editable 3D CAD, 2D drawings with critical dimensions and GD&T, resin grade, appearance, texture and color requirements, component stack-up and assembly interfaces, movement, operating-force and torque criteria, slider, lifter and insert details, validation method, annual and lifetime volume, target mold life, cavity requirement, injection-machine data, delivery destination and Incoterm.
