Rapid Prototype Mold – DFM, Tool Build & Trials
Price: On request after technical and commercial review
Details:
HA NOI MOULD TECHNOLOGY supports DFM review, prototype mold design and build, machining, assembly, and molding trials for design validation, assembly checks, bridge production, or other low-volume requirements before serial tooling. Tool concept, mold-base and insert material, cavity count, ejection method, target shots, lead time, and sampling plan depend on part geometry, resin, tolerances, validation scope, quantity, and injection-machine data.
Typical project scope:
• DFM review covering wall thickness, draft, undercuts, parting line, gate, venting, cooling, and ejection
• Prototype-tool concept aligned with the required validation purpose, sample quantity, technical risk, and budget
• Mold-base, insert material, cavity count, and manual or automatic ejection selected after technical review
• Machining, fitting, assembly, and trial preparation
• T1 and follow-up trials as required by the agreed validation plan
• Trial samples, dimensional inspection, and correction loops as agreed in the project scope
Application examples:
• Form, fit, and function validation
• Assembly and interface checks
• Resin, appearance, or process trials
• Bridge and low-volume plastic parts, subject to technical feasibility
Prototype tool life and lead time are project-specific. A requested 300–800-shot target must be confirmed after review of the part, resin, tool concept, molding conditions, and acceptance criteria.
Buyer RFQ inputs:
• Editable 3D CAD and 2D drawings/GD&T
• Resin grade, color, additives, and surface/texture requirements
• Validation purpose, sample quantity, and acceptance criteria
• Critical dimensions, interfaces, inserts, and undercuts
• Target tool life, cavity requirement, ejection preference, and requested schedule
• Injection-machine data, delivery destination, and Incoterm
