GRITEC GmbH
GRITEC is specialist for development, production and distribution of technical buildings in form of factory-finished room cells made of reinforced concrete for many areas of public and industrial infrastructure. The spectrum ranges from small, non-accessible transformer substations to large, accessible buildings assembled from several individual modules in all possible application-related finishing stages. Standardised as well as customised doors and ventilation elements are manufactured in our own metal production facility. An all-round service from planning to the tested, ready-to-connect station as well as refurbishment of existing stations round off GRITEC's range of services.

The company develops, manufactures and supplies turnkey system solutions for energy, water, gas and telecommunications networks as well as for industrial and transport applications. The focus is on factory-built, robust and durable modular buildings that are used as transformer stations, network stations, switch houses or special technical structures.
GRITEC combines planning, engineering, production, logistics and assembly under one roof, offering comprehensive solutions from project planning to commissioning. Its products are designed to meet high safety requirements, comply with standards and offer durability, and in particular support the expansion of renewable energies, the modernisation of electricity grids and the development of charging and grid infrastructure.
With several locations in Germany and Europe and around 1,300 employees, GRITEC sees itself as a technology-driven system provider in the field of energy and supply infrastructure. The company works closely with network operators, municipal utilities, industrial companies and public clients and stands for quality, sustainability and innovative infrastructure concepts.
Business
GRITEC GmbH, headquartered in Waghäusel, is a medium-sized industrial company and one of Europe's leading suppliers of modular reinforced concrete technical buildings for critical infrastructure. The company develops, manufactures and distributes factory-built, ready-to-connect modular rooms and system buildings, which are primarily used in the energy, water, gas and telecommunications sectors. The focus is on robust, durable and standard-compliant technical buildings that serve as transformer stations, network stations, switch houses, transfer stations or individual special structures, thus playing a central role in the secure supply of cities, municipalities and industrial plants.
GRITEC sees itself as a comprehensive system provider covering the entire value chain – from technical planning and engineering to industrial manufacturing in the factory to logistics, assembly and commissioning on site. The modular design enables both standardised series solutions and customised special designs that are precisely tailored to the respective project requirements. The focus is on functionality, safety, ease of maintenance and cost-effectiveness. The buildings are designed to meet the highest technical requirements and comply with relevant national and international standards.
The energy transition is a key market and growth driver for GRITEC. The expansion of renewable energies, the increasing decentralisation of electricity generation, grid expansion and the integration of charging infrastructure for electric mobility require modern, scalable and rapidly implementable infrastructure components. GRITEC provides the structural basis for this by supplying technical buildings for substations, medium- and low-voltage grids, and transfer points. In addition, the solutions are used in water and wastewater management, gas distribution networks, broadband expansion, and industrial supply structures.
With several production and sales locations in Germany and Europe and around 1,300 employees, the company has a high level of vertical integration and technical expertise. Certified management systems in the areas of quality, environment, occupational safety and energy underline the company's commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices. GRITEC works closely with energy suppliers, network operators, municipal utilities, industrial companies and public sector clients, positioning itself as a reliable partner for long-term infrastructure projects.
Overall, GRITEC GmbH stands for industrial precision, modular construction expertise and innovative solutions in the field of energy and supply infrastructure. The company combines traditional construction know-how with technical system expertise, thereby making an important contribution to the stability and sustainability of modern networks and supply structures.
